Melissa is a PhD student in the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on the intersection of climate science, economics, and data science. Before starting graduate school, Melissa worked as an Economic Associate, where she supported testifying economists in calculating damage awards for large-scale civil litigation.
