Khashi is a PhD student in the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His dissertation focuses on sustainable tree crop disease management in the US, with a focus on the management of antibiotic resistance. His research integrates economic, biological, and farmer behavioral insights to provide recommendations for sustainable disease management in agriculture. Khashi is the recipient of 2024 AAEA Graduate Student Extension Competition award.
